Pain is a universal human experience, yet few take the time to think about pain. This course, for people in pain, health professionals, and yoga teachers, invites you to explore an in-depth integration of pain science, pain care, and therapeutic yoga aimed at winding down the nervous systems and promoting positive lasting changes in the body. You will learn current pain neuroscience, as well as practical and empowering tools to guide yourself and your students and clients toward moving with greater ease.
For those interested in the Pain Care Yoga certificate program, this course is the equivalent of Overcome Pain Gentle Yoga.
There are no prerequisites for this course, and no previous yoga experience is required. This be a gentle practice, allowing you to challenge your abilities as it best serves you at the time.
